Ok, if you look at my side bar on the right, pause the song playing in my pink playlist. Then, go to the top where it says video bar and click on the top video. A video will open and you will have the option to close it by clicking "i'm done watching this".
Now that you're watching the video, see if you can name the gentleman in the whacky jacket playing the bass guitar. I had forgotten he played with them! NO looking it up, try to guess by looking at him! DON'T LOOK AT THE COMMENTS BEFORE YOU GUESS, the answer might be there!

I am SO DONE watching this!!! Haven't a clue...too busy in the
80's I guess!!! What is the group? Who is he and why is it significant? Did he play something/somewhere else?
Am I the only one who could pick out Randy Jackson from a mile away here? He looks a bit younger than he does on American Idol, though. Nice eraser-head hairdo, too.

And Randy Jackson from A.I. fame playing bass guitar. This was 22 years ago! Not everyone realizes he had this enormous career BEFORE Idol. So, DING DING DING, Adam was right...I don't remember mentioning a prize ;) Maybe I'll have to come up with one!

Well, I guess I get the....no, never mind what kind of prize I get--I wasn't even looking at the right GUY!!! I was looking at the guy in the PINK jacket, studying HIS face! Of course I know who Randy Jackson is from A.I., though I had no clue where in the world he came from! You have solved at least part of my puzzlement. I have been trying to figure out if he was one of the many "Jackson" siblings (Michael, Germaine, Janet,LaToya, etc.). Didn't think I remember a "Randall"!
